Jun 11, 2024 · If you’ve been with for a minute, you may recognize Two Way Monologue as my second album. A follower on Instagram reminded me that it came out March 9th, 2004. On October 11th, 2024, I’m reissuing the album on vinyl with some never-before-shared bonus tracks.

Lerche’s instincts served him well in March of 2020, when he made a split second decision to return to Norway just as the COVID-19 pandemic began cancelling flights and shuttering international borders.
In 2004, his second album was released, Two Way Monologue, also produced by Gundersen. The album displayed more of Lerche's ability to span many different styles—from pop-like and upbeat tracks to more mellow or melodic tunes.
Jan 1, 2012 · In 2000, Lerche signed with Virgin Norway after meeting manager Tatiana Penzo in Oslo. His debut album, “Faces Down,” released in 2001, earned him the Best New Act title at the Norwegian Grammys. After launching throughout Europe, it hit the U.S. in 2002, and was celebrated by Rolling Stone Magazine.

May 2, 2022 · Like the rest of the world though, the twists and turns of COVID-19 soon disrupted business as usual. After 15 years in the U.S., Lerche flew back to his native Norway to wait things out. As with many of his peers, he had an album ready for release and a tour to launch, but no concrete plans for making either happen.
