Following the 2021 tour dates, King Crimson ceased activity, although without expressly announcing a breakup. Reasons cited were practical ones involving the old age of several of the members plus the rising cost of services during the pandemic , with no band intentions for any more tours.

Sep 21, 2018 · On this date twelve years Boz Burrell died after a heart attack. The bassist and vocalist with King Crimson in 1971 and 1972 went on to enjoy a hugely successful post-Crim career with Bad Company. Boz died at his Spanish home in Puerto Banus, Marbella in the company of several friends.
