    Episode 1

    Release: November 23, 2019

The episode begins with a narration by Thalleous Sendaris telling the story of the land of Ardonia and The Great War between the four Ardoni clans and the combined forces of the Nether and the Voltaris. While the war initially went poorly for the Ardoni, an Ardoni named Achillean Nestoris led his people to victory and fought the leader of the Voltaris, Ingressus. During the final battle, both Achillean and Ingressus were mentioned as defeated. Thalleous reads this story to a human named Hawken, who insists the Voltaris have returned and are on Mt. Velgrin. Thalleous and Hawken travel to the mountain to investigate but are attacked by the Voltaris, led by Tygren. Hawken dies defending Thalleous, who narrowly escapes Tygren and retreats from Mt. Velgrin.

    Episode 2

    Release: December 7, 2019

Two bounty hunters, Jalkar Bowmani and Grim, break into the castle of Etherea to steal a Dragon Stone. While they get away, Grim bumps into Jalkar and the Stone falls off a cliff, vanishing into a trail of energy flowing towards Underwood. Meanwhile, in Sendaria, two young Ardoni named Senn and Ria are sparring when Thalleous returns and gives them both Songs. However, Osivian, the clan leader disapproves of Senn and Ria spending time together. Later, after Senn gets caught overhearing a discussion between Thalleous and Osivian, Thalleous agrees to take Senn on an adventure the following morning.

Season 2 and 3 were cancelled on June 14th, 2020 by David.

The scripts for both seasons were released on the same day that they were cancelled.

Songs of War was cancelled on June 14th 2020, approaching 4 years ago very soon as of December 25, 2023, yet the community which enjoyed it has still yet to move on. The cancellation was met with much outcry from the BPS (as that is what it was named at the time) community, particularly older fans who had become invested in the plot and world-building. Many smaller teams attempted to make their own remakes with the resources they were given (assets, scripts, and their own talents) although none of these remakes have gained much notice, sadly, aside from a small fanbase which still avidly follows Songs of War. Another official cancellation was posted on May 25, 2023 on the Squared Media Discord channel by MattSquared, new owner of BPS/Squared Media. It reads:

"Songs of War Season 2 was cancelled 3 years ago, and will not be returning. On top of it not generating enough revenue for a Season 2 to be viable within the first year of its release, both the Director and Co Director of the series are no longer with the channel, and all of the assets have been released to the public. This decision is final. There are many fanmade episodes of Songs of War on the internet, from talented creators such as Knights of Ardonia, Megste Studios, HeliosAnimation, XunMengLong, and many more. We understand that many of you discovered the channel through Songs of War and were very passionate about the world and lore. I will be making a Squared Community video in the future that compiles everything we have available to us from the old Songs of War files and assets, to allow you all some closure and a one-stop-shop for all of the information you need regarding the series. There was previously a cancellation video, but it seems to have been taken down, likely during the days of our company's rebranding. However, there is a silver lining to all of this. We have another series on a similar scale to Songs of War in the works called Craft My Life, so please stay tuned as we will have more information to share later this year about Squared Media returning to series-based content!"
