In order to get the secret ending, the player has to find all 18 Royal Jellies, then fuse them in the hidden αlphα GLITCH zone accessible from the 10 Bee Zone to make a Star Jelly. Once the player has it, they can beat the boss like normal and access the secret ending room. (The player will also be told this after they beat the boss, regardless of if the player has the Star Jelly or not.) 1 Royal Jelly is either hidden or locked behind an extra challenge (sometimes both) per field, totaling 15 Royal Jellies from the fields, and the other 3 are hidden in secrets around the map.
Additionally, the player can touch the patty in the kitchen of "The Fruity Jouthian" and push the horse that spawns to "Big Paulie's", causing a Lorekeeper Certificate to appear next to both winpads.
