The unnamed live-action Carmen Sandiego movie is an upcoming standalone film based on the character of the same name set for release on Netflix.
It will star Gina Rodriguez as Carmen, who also voices the character in the 2019 Netflix series.
"The movie will be a standalone Carmen adventure that will embrace this beloved 90’s property for existing fans and a new generation."
A live-action Carmen Sandiego movie was first reported by Deadline on March 26, 2018, with Gina Rodriguez in the lead role. Rodriguez, is also producing the film along with Kevin Misher, Caroline Fraser, and executive producer Andy Berman. Mark Perez was later attached to the project as writer.
