- Bottled Blonde. Arizona-based concept opens March 24 in the West 7th entertainment district, at 2821 Morton St. — the fifth location for this party-friendly chain whose combination of food & drink, TVs & entertainment options, and expansive outdoor space have proven to be an irresistible formula, especially in these post-pandemic times.
- Don Artemio. Buzzy newcomer in the Cultural District is a spinoff of a fine-dining steakhouse from Saltillo, known for its beautiful clay bricks. It's a collaboration between Adrian Burciaga, former general manager of Cafe Modern, and third-generation restaurateur Juan Ramón Cárdenas, and it's at 3268 W. Seventh St., in the former Mr. Gatti's Pizza space, where it's incorporating local ingredients from Fort Worth and northeastern Mexico, such as kid goat, nopales, and red hawthorn, plus an eye-catching tres leches dessert topped with ice cream molded into a curvy ammonite shell shape.
- The Fitzgerald. Restaurant in the former Blu Crab space at 6115 Camp Bowie Blvd. is from chef Ben Merritt (Fixture, Ben's Triple B) but is a little step up from those more casual places, with steaks on the menu and decor that includes chandeliers.
- Parker County Ice House. Chef Stefon Rishel and his Trident Restaurant Group are on trend with this restaurant with indoor/outdoor bar in Aledo, where they're offering food, drink, and outdoor entertainment including live music.
