Once home to one of Detroit's most successful lumber barons, the Whitney now has a new life full of grandeur and celebration as a fine dining restaurant and upscale lounge. Its history doesn't stay in the past, though. Traditions of elegant tea parties and dinners, as well as sightings of David Whitney Jr.'s ghost, are alive and well.
