    •The Zhou Dynasty which had ruled over China and the Zhongyuan for about 280 years is defeated by Marquess of Shen's rebellion. The main force of Marquess's Army is a mountain tribe known as Quanrong. This event marks the start of the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period of China.

    647 B.C.

    •The neighboring State of Jin starts to suffer from famine. Although Jin and Qin are enemies, Duke Boku takes pity on the peasants of Jin and lent vast amounts of food to Jin.

    646 B.C.

    •The state of Qin starts to suffer from a famine. Duke Boku asks the Jin Kingdom for aid. However, Jin raises a massive army and invades Qin to take advantage of them.

    •An enraged Duke Boku personally leads soldiers on the front lines to do battle with the Jin Army.

    306 B.C.

    •King Shou of Qin, Ei Sei’s Great Grandfather, ascends to the throne as the 28th king.

    •The coalition war led by Gaku Ki of Yan against Qi begins. This results in the near total destruction of the state of Qi.

    •Qi King Ou Ken is born in the besieged city of Kyo.

    280 B.C.

    •Ryo Fui leads an army of 200,000 Qin soldiers to siege the city of Shaoliang located in Northern Wei.

    •Shin and Hyou meet Shou Bun Kun, a passing official of the Qin courts. He expresses an interest in Hyou and buys his freedom from his live as a slave and servant.

    •Hyou meets Ei Sei, the king of Qin. He is told the truth about his role as his body double and dangers associated.

    •Ei Sei bestows Hyou a family for his service as he's body double. Hyou chooses the name of Ri (李) for his family after seeing the king eating a plum and is renamed Ri Hyou (李漂).

    •Sei Kyou's Rebellion takes place. Sei Kyou, Ei Sei's younger half-brother and Chancellor of the Left, Ketsu Shi join forces to overthrow Ei Sei. He would also imprison his wife Rui and his vassals after they try to stop his actions.

    •Ri Hyou dies while performing his duties as a body double but passes on his mission to Shin.

    February: Under the orders of Chancellor Ryo Fui, a grand army numbering over 200,000 soldiers set out to invade the neighboring state of Han, under the command of Great General Mou Gou to conquer the territory of Anhou.[135]

    •In a single month, they managed to conquer 11 cities.[136]

    •After conquering their original objective of Anhou, they decided to push even further into Han territory.

    •During this campaign, Mou Ten scores a number of great achievements.[137]

    March: The Battle of Ganmon takes place and the Ri Boku Army slays over 100,000 Xiongnu.

    •The Zhao Army, under the command of Great General Hou Ken, invades Qin.

    •Shin is promoted to the rank of 300-Man Commander due his accomplishments during the Battle of Bayou.

    •The newly promoted Hi Shin Unit repels an attack by Wei forces.

    •Dou Kin, an army commander of the Tou Army, is killed in battle by Rin Bun Kun.

    •The city of Saki is destroyed and sacked. The entire population is slaughtered as revenge for Sanyou.

    •The city of Bayou is conquered by the Ri Boku Army.

    •The Hi Shin Unit is relieved of the duty to return to the inner regions of Qin.

  3. Depends on what you mean. Does it follow historical events? Mostly yes, but Hara has a lot of gaps to fill as the historical records aren't detailed. Is the series an accurate depiction of that time period? Not really.
