Sep 27, 2022 · Hello, i played with some friends on our Hypixel SMP Server and we wanted to build a Creeper Farm. Unfortunately, when we built it, we realized that it didn't work. After some research we found out that the spawn radius was changed to 95, so we changed the afk spot.

Mob farm's rates depend on the heightmap: The higher you have blocks in the column the greater the chance is for the spawning algorithm to pick a y-coordinate outside your farm and the spawn to fail. Thus, building it up into the sky is detrimental for the rates.
