No. In 1.18 highest chance for mobs to spawn is still down at lowest y level with open sky above. Changes that would make spawning same at any y level were post poned to future update. But building mob farm high in the sky is still viable as you don't need to spawn proof any area around. 3.

If you want an AFK XP farm, you'll need an autoclicker or build a piglin-based gold farm. For a super easy, worked-since-the-beginning mob drop/xp farm, try this style. That video may be garbage (i haven't watched it) but the design is something I've been using for a decade.
Jan 28, 2024 · I would mainly need spiders and skeletons; I'm playing a modded skyblock so I don't have many blocks, simpler it is better, but it would be useful if it was upgradable. Also having a material list and some stats for the rates would be cool.
