What's up with Seward Park and the crowd that tends to gather there? Has this forever been a problem? Events: The Official events that are run - for example "Steppin' Under the Stars" is supposed to be from 6:00PM-9:00PM.
Nov 1, 2015 · My favorite park in Seattle, located in the necklace of path and parks along Lake Washington. Family and jogger/walker focused path is close to 3 miles with plenty of room for tourists and locals (unlike narrow Green Lake).

Seward Park is a wonderful patch of greenery on the edge of Chinatown and is a real family park in that I saw parents and grandparents chasing after their children and the kids having a wonderful time in the playgrounds and splashing in the water spouts coming out of the ground.

The park’s 2.4-mile loop trail is a favorite for walkers, runners, and cyclists, offering beautiful vistas of the lake and Mount Rainier. In addition to the scenic trails, Seward Park has a swimming beach, picnic areas, and several playgrounds, making it a popular destination for families.
