Like if you go to NYU, you can feel very confident you can get an NYC biglaw job. If you strike out in Seattle out of law school, make sure to also have that backup, even if it is with the eye to go back to Seattle in a few years once you’ve built up your resume more.
I just spoke with a representative at NYU Law and asked them what makes NYU Law unique in comparison to other T14s. The person could not give me ONE reason beyond “well it’s in the downtown area of Manhattan, your social life would be good there.”
