Inspection report: Handsworth Primary School 20 and 21 June 2023 3 Leaders have recently refined the curriculum in a few subjects. This was because leaders wanted to ensure that pupils build skills and knowledge sequentially over time. They also wanted to make sure that diversity is reflected throughout the curriculum.

Inspection report: St James Church of England Primary School, Handsworth 9 and 10 July 2024 2 Staff have strong subject knowledge and present learning in a clear and logical way. This means that pupils grasp concepts quickly and build up their learning over time. Pupils make strong progress and leave the school achieving well.
The curriculum provides an opportunity for pupils to understand real issues that contribute to their health, wellbeing, resilience and independence. Our overall aims; To enhance understanding of subjects and concerns that may be labelled as a challenging topic with an aim to educate and make a difference.
