Hakuhodo has some things that really are unique to them, but so do other brush brands. it all boils down to is it appealing enough? because when there's a will, there's a way. but most of my brushes are koyudo and chikuhodo because CDJapan is awesome and cheaper.

Hakuhodo has a gray coloured goat/squirrel mix line that is awesome (G509 powder) - they deliver the same way goats do but feel much softer. Chikuhodo squirrel is great (Z4), but honestly Hakuhodo squirrel is near the same, so it really depends on which brush shape you prefer.

Jan 5, 2013 · On my first order, I recieved J5523, K007, S125, and Kokutan WM. I find myself using S125 and J5523 daily. WM is beautiful but I don’t reach for it that often because I don’t care for the stiff weasel hair. On this next order, I’m considering a blush brush J210, eye brushes G5523, K005, G5512, J5529, and S121G. What are your thoughts?
