Pre-Raid/<2 Hour Gym Defense. These Gym Defenders are the cream of the crop when at max CP with little to no CP loss. They are best used to hold down a Gym pre-raid or keep a Gym held a bit longer in a bigger city. After Blissey and Mandibuzz, the most optimal choices are Milotic, Alolan Muk, and Dragonite.

Aug 8, 2024 · You get a Gym badge for every Gym you interact with. It takes 500 points to get a bronze badge, 4,000 to get a silver badge, and 30,000 to get gold. The most efficient way to get Gym points is to be in a Gym for long periods (1440 a day) and/or fight in a lot of Raids at the Gym (1000 per Raid).

Nov 15, 2020 · Holding a gym for one day should net you 1440 BXP and a Raid should give you 1000XP, however in two controlled gyms (See picture below) the Raids had no change to the experience bar. The main factor that determined any real increase in unlocking the Gold badge was “Time Defended”.
