Chat is a feature that is included in every Roblox game unless the developer decides to disable it. To open the chat, either hit the "/" key or press the chat button in the top left. BedWars itself has some special chat tags and chat commands along with a few custom sounds that play when a player chats.
Chat commands are commands that can be typed in the Roblox chat. They are usually prefixed with "/". Some can be used anywhere by anyone, while others can only be used by the creator of a Custom Match. Most of them are not case-sensitive, meaning "/LOBBY" will actually be registered as /lobby itself.
[VIP]
This chat tag is given only to players who own the VIP Rank Gamepass, it colors the player's username light green. Example: [VIP] [ ]: Hi!
[TRANSLATOR]
This chat tag is only given to the translators in Easy.gg, it colors the player's username the same light green as VIP. Example: [TRANSLATOR] [ ]: Hi!
[DEV]
This chat tag is only given to the game's developers, the only four developers known to have it are @bryan3838, @chasemaser , @spleenhook and @SnickTrix. Example: [DEV] [ ]: Hi! This actually used to be called [ADMIN]! Example: [ADMIN] [ ]: Hi!

Chat noises are sound effects that play when somebody enters a message into the chat. There are currently only 3 different noises.
•A few minutes after the release of the November 19, 2021 update, players could type the command /forcefield to ragdoll and fling players around. This was patched a few minutes later.
•The /hub command was replaced with /lobby command, possibly due to people being warned by roblox for using it.
•Chatsound1 and Chatsound2 are no longer in the Lobby, however you can still make them in a match.
•StarCodeZephPlayz used to own the [FAMOUS] Tag due to the process of "Farm Life" back in 2019.
•Typing in /bedwars will teleport you and every party member back to the lobby.
•Typing /islands will take you to another Easy.gg game: Islands.
Dec 23, 2021 · Every kit skin in BedWars. Kit skins are a cosmetic feature that was added on December 23, 2021. These apply alternate appearances to a kit and certain items or apply the kit's appearance to the player's avatar in-game. They can be equipped in the Kit Shop menu. There are currently 45 kit skins in the game.
