Wardington is a village and civil parish in Oxfordshire, about 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Banbury. The village consists of two parts: Wardington and Upper Wardington. The village is on a stream that rises in Upper Wardington and flows north to join the River Cherwell.
With two pubs and an active community, these little villages provide their residents with a great quality of life in a beautiful environment. The villages are about three miles from Banbury and junction 11 of the M40, yet off the beaten track, quiet and remarkably unspoiled.

The living is a vicarage, tithe rent-charge £13, with 84 acres of glebe, value £61, gross yearly value £250, with residence, in the gift of the Bishop of Oxford, and held since 1877 by the Rev. Dale John Welburn, of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.
