I remember SVU once did a crossover with them and the format felt a bit weird. It was like original L&O with the emphasis on court scenes, but had a lot of boring aspects like showing details of the booking process.
"Trial By Jury" focused heavily on the courtroom side of things which included more than just the DA's, but judges, defense attorneys, and an investigation squad that DA's have in NYC apparently. "Conviction" didn't have "Law & Order" in the name but it took place "in universe" in the DA's office.
