- Becky052. Thomasville, GA 437 contributions. Museum is Perfect!! Lisa was an excellent hostess - we felt like we had a new friend. The museum is small but worth every minute, especially if you knew nothing about the area when you arrived.
- Joe V. Nashville, TN37 contributions. Fair pay for play again. Finally got back on the free rooms and free play rewards. Took a while but it finally came. The smoke free environment is great, you actually play and do not get a headache from all the smoke.
- Champaignguy. Champaign, IL 185 contributions. Great experience for novice riders. We are in our 70s and thought it would be fun to try something new. We were repeatedly reassured about our 45-minute ride.
- Nick W. Tell City, IN 467 contributions. Good Time. We came here on a Thursday during our fall break. We arrived about 11 AM and entered quickly since we had bought our tickets online.

French Lick Resort
French Lick Resort – the resort is a National Historic Landmark and has 3 hotels (West Baden Springs, French Lick Springs and Valley Tower), but West Baden is the one you’ve probably seen in photographs with it’s atrium that spans 200 feet. The hotels were renovated in the 90’s to bring them into the glory you find them in today. They offer restaurants, spas, bowling, horseback riding, a casino and golf courses. Don’t forget to visit the spa to soak in the mineral springs that caused the town...
Animals
Wilstem Wildlife Park– With over 1,000 acres, Wilstern offers plenty of fun experiences. View over 40 species of animals from your car as you drive through their safari park. During the holidays they also have a drive through light show. If you prefer something more thrilling, try the zipline, rent an ATV or go horseback riding. However, the most exciting thing at Wilstern are the animal encounters. Get up close and personal with grizzlies, elephants, giraffes, sloths or kangaroos.
Outdoors
Paoli Peaks – In winter months, you can go skiing at nearby Paoli Peaks. Or, if you’re uncoordinated like me…snow tubing! Wesley Chapel Gulf – I always love checking out unique natural features while I’m traveling so this would definitely make my list. It’s even designated as a National Natural Landmark. It’s and area where the river has started to run underground due to collapsed sinkholes and the rock eroding. Patoka Lake – There is no end to the surprising things you can learn about the Mi...

- Howard Steamboat Museum & Mansion. The steamboat industry was the lifeblood of Jeffersonville for decades, and there’s no better place to get a handle on this period than the home of shipyard owner Edmonds J. Howard.
- Big Four Bridge and Big Four Station. Now a fantastic link to Louisville for pedestrians and cyclists, the Big Four Bridge opened as long ago as 1895.
- Schimpff’s Confectionery. Family-owned since 1891, Schimpff’s Confectionery is the oldest retail business in Jeffersonville and the oldest candy store in all of Indiana.
- Falls of the Ohio State Park. Just around the bend in Clarksville is a riverside spot with tons of interest, both historic and prehistoric. This was the location for George Rogers Clark’s cabin, and it was at this very place in 1803 that his younger brother William Clark met up with Meriwether Lewis at the start of their famous expedition.
