Along the eastern objectives, you will run into a dwarf named Brodir. He explains that Nidhogg’s hands rule over this land and if you could take out a Slave Master, he can help you.
Just ahead will be a large tower and at the top of this tower will be your target. We recommend stealth as there are a lot of enemies in this area. Once you confirm the kill, you’ll need to return to Brodir in another run.
Brodir will be waiting for you the next time you enter Nidheim. He will explain that you need to purchase moonstones from the Hidden Merchant near the tower.
Below the tower is a small cave where you can find Wolfsbane. This Hidden Merchant sells higher quality gear for your gems and can always be found in this location on subsequent runs. But for this quest, she will give you the moonstones you require. Leaving the cave, Brodir will thank you for getting the moonstones and reward you with Memories.
On another run, Brodir will be waiting along the western path, near an invoker. The Moonstones will be placed around the area and the Invoker will be used to summon a werewolf.
This enemy is protected by magic, so lure it toward one of the moonstones. It will be stunned and damaged. Rinse and repeat until the werewolf is defeated. The werewolf’s curse will be lifted, but more druids will attack. Defeat them all to complete this quest.
Nidhogg is a foul dragon with poison pouring from its belly. Be sure to not stay under the dragon for too long or you will be affected by the poison. This dragon has some basic attacks, including swiping at you with any of its legs and a huge sweeping attack with its wing. Additionally, it will fly up and spew poison all over the arena, leaving only a few safe spots. But, the most important part of this battle is how you actually damage it.
Nidhogg is impervious to all damage except for its feet. All four of them have separate health bars and need to be damaged before you can actually damage its main health bar. Fire is its weakness, so using fire attacks is highly recommended to quickly damage its feet, plus the fire can spread and damage multiple targets at once.
With enough damage, Nidhogg will crash to the ground. It will let out a roar and shoot a poisonous blast from its mouth, dodge that then attack the glowing spot on its neck. At half health, Nidhogg will stand up and you will need to repeat attacking its feet. It will crash down again and follow the same pattern as before until you have defeated it.
An aura will emanate from its body and ghostly draugrs will spawn in, rushing to the fallen dragon. It will rise once more with half of its health remaining. Rinse and repeat one final time to put Nidhogg down for good.
