- General advice
- Character progression
•Buying food is cheaper and more efficient than cooking it yourself. Craft a bucket to refill it at water sources.
•Keeping the hunger and thirst meters full will provide a 10% experience gain increase.
•Tents are highly recommended before attempting a raid. Remember to click on them to set your spawn point.
•Some stats quickly become irrelevant after the start of the game: (specifically mining, woodcutting, smelting and cooking).
•Enemies scale in difficulty with your player level but not significantly quickly.
•You may want to specialize in one or two weapon types, and one armor type early on.
Level 1-10
•Explore in or around the City of Beginning: •At level 1, you will be able to defeat wild animals, bandit tents and barbarian tents around the City. •Attack enemies with your mace or axe to level them up. If you want to level up daggers or swords instead, you'll have to buy or craft one. •Find and defeat these enemies, then return to the City to sell their loot. •If you're dying easily, interact with the statue of Aena in the Upper District for a long-lasting health regeneration boost. •Obtain your first full set of equipment: •Earn a few gold coins by harvesting items on the ground or by looting enemies and chests. •Buy crafting materials next to the horse trader, in the Lower District of the City. •Buy crafting recipes in the Upper District. •Craft your first armor set and weapon of your choice. •You can buy all the crafting requirements for the starter quests in the City. •Once you reach level 10, you will be ready to explore the City Sewers: •There are two quests in the Sewers: one from the innkeeper and one from Hobo Jenkins, who is in the room behind you at the bottom of the rope. •You can purchase dead rats or gather them from around the Sewers. Press F to interact with them. •To find enemies relevant to your quest, open the in-game settings and turn on Quest Markers. •The final part of Sewer Patrol may be too difficult to attempt at level 10. If so, you can return at around level 25 to complete this quest. •You can turn right at the final hallway of the sewer and head upward to interact with the statue of Qumaras for a long-lasting 10% damage boost.
Levels 11-20
•You should now be strong enough to defeat most non-raid enemy structures such as: •Small Spider Caverns •Small Bandit Caverns •Barbarian Camps •Pirate Encampments •Crab Nests •Ghost Hills •Haunted Farms •Giant Torches •Lizardmen Tents •Looting enemies and chests is the best way to find equipment for your level, and they frequently drop crafting materials like lumber and stone. •Complete the final part(s) of the Starter Quest. •At level 20, you will be able to equip all uncommon equipment that you have looted.
Levels 21-40
•You may decide to start targeting somewhat harder structures as you progress in this stage: •Lizardmen Villages •Big Crab Nests •Leviathan Crab Nests (Raid) (challenging - bring a tent) •Bandit Hideouts •Torch Fortress (Raid) (challenging - bring a tent) •At level 30, you will be able to equip rare equipment from all sources. •Elemental weapons and armor will start to become available from now onward.
This is the official category standard, that should be used throughout the Reign Wiki. To maintain a clear and easy-to-use wiki categories must be rightfully used for navigation. Here is a list of all categories in case you need help.
Races are late-game features that provide the player new elemental abilities. Each race has different requirements to unlock, although most of them are directly unlocked by consumable items, which rarely drop from their respective elemental enemies.
