This post contains spoilers for Cobra Kai. If you haven't watched yet, check out our Cobra Kai Season 5 Review!

In a truly jam-packed near-hour-long finale, Cobra Kai brought the karate action that's made it such a smash hit. After a season that saw Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang come together for real as Cobra Kai took over the Valley, character drama has often taken precedence over all-out fight scenes. But the final episode throws the sprawling cast into a veritable war. Carrying on a seasons' long--and season-making--tradition, we follow the Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do kids into a massive brilliantly choreographed karate brawl, this time at the former's dojo. They're not the only ones fighting, though. After a drunken night out, Johnny (William Zabka), Chozen (Yuji Okumoto), and Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan)--who hijacked their limo at the end of Episode 9--head off to defeat Silver in his own home. It's a huge mistake as they're on his turf and are quickly seen off by the nefarious businessman and his team of evil senseis. Things don't look good for Chozen or Johnny, who are both seem to be near-fatally injured.

Back at the Cobra Kai dojo, viewers get some long awaited team-ups, including Sam (Mary Mouser) and Tory (Peyton List). The kids put their Cobra Kai-ending plan into action, sharing a video of Terry Silver admitting to paying off the referee in last season's All Valley Karate Tournament. When Silver turns up, he and Daniel (Ralph Maccio) face down, with the latter coming out on top as he remembers Silver's traumatic training from Karate Kid III. Kenny (Dallas Dupree Young), Kyler (Joe Seo), and the Cobra Kai students quit, leaving Silver in the ruins of his trophy case.

This is the biggest question coming out of the finale. From what we saw him say to his therapist when he was stealing her pass to escape, he wants to make up for the way he hurt Johnny. But seeing as that was part of a ploy to break out of prison, that seems unlikely now. The most reasonable answer based on what we know about Kreese--and the brutal way that Johnny and Daniel tricked him by promising to help him get out of jail--is revenge.

Honestly, at this point Kreese has legitimate reasons to hate both of them. While it seemed like he was being set up for a redemption arc for the last few seasons, we think this ending establishes him as the major villain for Season 6. Whether deep down he actually wants to make things up to Johnny is yet to be seen. But whatever happens, he's coming for Daniel. The most tragic thing is if he'd have just waited a few days, he would have been released thanks to Stingray's testimony.

Cobra Kai Season 5 introduced some majorly impressive antagonists in the shape of a global domination-focused Terry Silver and his team of supervillain senseis. But it was Alicia Hannah-Kim's Sensei Kim Da-Eun who rose above them all as a season best villain. Unlike Silver's masochistic capitalism, Kim Da-Eun is driven by a desire to see her family...

Seeing as we left Cobra Kai with its sensei/owner in disgrace and headed to jail (and its founder breaking out) things aren't looking good for the titular dojo. There's the chance, as we suggested, that Kim Da-Eun could take the reins. But if not, then who? The answer may lie in the origins of the reboot. In Season 1 it was Johnny who, decades afte...

One of the things that'll have fans theorizing until Season 6 hits screens is which recently freed up Cobra Kai students will find space for some Miyagi-Do training on their calendar? The obvious answers are Devin (Oona O'Brien) and Tory, who teamed up against Kim Da-Eun. The bigger question marks, though, are over characters like Kenny and Kyler. ...

This feels very likely following the finale. We've already had Eagle Fang come out of the ashes of Cobra Kai, but as the kids prepare for the Sekai Takai it makes sense that we could potentially meet new dojos. With the contest being a global one, there's a chance to meet fighters from other schools. But we could also see Kim Da-Eun start a new US dojo to continue her father's legacy away from the shame of Cobra Kai. There's also the fact that Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang can only fight under a single banner for the massive contest, so that could evolve into a newly founded merged team too. As the world of Cobra Kai expands, we expect the amount of dojos to do the same. The bigger question, however, is who will be at their helm?

We'll have to wait for the already confirmed sixth season of Cobra Kai to find out!
