The hike starts at Stinson Beach, just behind the fire Station. I recommend parking at the Beach parking lot. The Matt Davis trail is one of the best constructed trails I have ever seen.

  8. Hiked this trail in conjunction with the Steep Ravine and Dipsea Trails and looped back to Stinson Beach. The entire hike was magical, but this part of the hike was definitely the most difficult part. If you're starting from Stinson Beach, it's a 3.6 mile uphill hike to Pantoll Campground.
