Refunds
If you are forced, by illness or other personal reasons, to withdraw from courses, you will be charged a partial fee for courses that are cancelled. The charge is determined by the date on which the course is cancelled. It is important that you review the 2022-2023 cancellation schedule. It will be available on the Registrar’s Office website at https://registrar.mcmaster.ca/fees/in the spring of 2022.

Through UHIP, your necessary medical costs are covered for the entire academic year, from September 1 to August 31 — with a few exceptions for incoming exchange students and other students with plans to study at McMaster for fewer than 12 months.
