Hannah Ashworth
Hannah Ashworth is the only daughter of Neville and Suzanne Ashworth. She was born in 1989, and has an older brother Rhys and younger brother Josh. On her mother's side, she has two younger half-siblings: twins Frankie and JJ Osborne (fathered by Hannah's ex-husband Darren Osborne).
Hannah's family moved from Manchester to Hollyoaks in September 2005, where Hannah quickly befriended Nancy Hayton and Sarah Barnes. Supporting Sarah in her modelling career following Hannah's own break-up with John Paul McQueen left her insecurities sky high and she sought advice in model Melissa Hurst, ultimately developing an eating disorder. After Melissa's death, Hannah began undergoing treatment.
In 2009, Hannah drunkenly married Darren in Denmark. They planned to annul the marriage but Darren came to her rescue when she became homeless. After the dramatic return of an old flame, Jamie, Hannah decided to leave the village in 2010, amicably divorcing Darren a year later when he got engaged to Nancy. Hannah then made a sudden return to the village in 2024, reuniting Darren with the twins.
