May 24, 2024 · Named for Bobby Short, the legendary “saloon singer” who performed in the neighboring Café Carlyle for 36 years, Bobby’s Manhattan—with Santa Teresa 1796 rum, Carpano Antica, cherry Heering, Scrappy’s orange bitters and dry gypsophila—is no ordinary drink.
Bemelmans Bar offers two shows of jazz every evening. The first goes from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the second is from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (until 1 a.m. on weekends). The early show is usually a solo musician and the late show features a trio.
