    • WandaVision. The first Marvel property up in 2021 is WandaVision. The Disney+ series will see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return to their MCU roles, Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch and Vision, respectively.
    • Morbius. Jared Leto's Morbius is scheduled to help expand the SPUMC in 2021. Originally set for a release in the summer of 2020, the film was delayed by Sony to its current March 19, 2021 release date.
    • The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will finally launch on Disney+ in 2021. Instead of being the first MCU Disney+ series released, delays to production forced the show to move to 2021.
    • Black Widow. Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff is finally getting a solo film in 2021. Black Widow originally was scheduled to kick off Phase 4 with a summer 2020 release, but that did not happen.
    • WandaVision - Premiere Date: January 15, 2021. Initially The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was going to be the MCU’s first Disney+ series out the gate, but as a result of production delays (more on that later), WandaVision jumped to the front of the line.
    • Black Widow - Release Date: May 7, 2021. WandaVision may technically be kicking off Phase 4, but Black Widow will still be the first movie out this particular gate.
    • Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings - Release Date: July 9, 2021. Other than Iron Fist, Shang-Chi is arguably Marvel Comics’ most famous martial artist, and now he’s finally making his live-action debut in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
    • Eternals - Release Date: November 5, 2021. Like the Guardians of the Galaxy once were, The Eternals is a relatively obscure Marvel property, but that’ll change once their movie comes out.
  2. Moon Knight, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and now Thor: Love and Thunder are all set chronologically by release after that. And now, we’ve added She-Hulk, Secret Invasion,...

    • Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Coming in at number one, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is the MCU's best outing of 2021. Before this movie, Shang Chi was only known to a percentage of avid comic book readers, yet his MCU adaptation highlighted the character's best aspects with the aid of Simu Liu and Tony Leung's brilliant performances as Shang Chi and Wen Wu, respectively.
    • Spider-Man: No Way Home. Sony and Marvel Studios' latest collaboration, Spider-Man: No Way Home was the last MCU movie of 2021. No Way Home saw Tom Holland's Peter Parker take on villains from all over Spider-Man's 20-year history on the silver screen.
    • Wandavision. Perhaps the most creative MCU release to date, WandaVision kicked off Phase 4 through a twisted take on the sitcom genre. Audiences finally got to witness the consequences of all the loss Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) experienced as part of the Avengers.
    • Loki. Next up is Loki, Marvel's first project centered around a villain. Loki introduced the multiverse and variants to the MCU, two concepts that will form the basis of quite a few of the remaining Phase 4 releases, not the least of which is next year's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
