    2008–2011

Typography:  Unknown Launched:  May 2, 2008 Marvel Studios' first logo was similar to the "Flipbook" logo used by Marvel Entertainment, with the only difference that the word "Studios" would appear underneath the Marvel logo. It was used in the first Marvel Cinematic Universe films Iron Man and its sequel, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger.

    2012–2013

Typography:  Unknown Launched:  May 4, 2012 From 2012 to 2013, Marvel Studios didn't have its own logo, and as such shared the same logo with Marvel Entertainment until 2013. It was only used in The Avengers and Iron Man 3.

    2013–2016

Typography:  Unknown Launched:  November 8, 2013 In 2013, the on-screen logo had a major redesign. Also created by Imaginary Forces, the logo retained the "Flipbook" format but now is animated as a CG curtain-raiser, which starts with the flip but suddenly gets more dimensional as it goes through the lettering and it reveals itself with a metallic sheen before settling into the white-on-red, well known Marvel logo, with the added flourish of the arrival and the word "Studios" at the bottom of the word Marvel. All of this accompanied with a majestic fanfare composed by Brian Tyler. This logo debuted in Thor: The Dark World and was later used in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and lastly Captain America: Civil War.

    2016–2021

Typography:  Unknown Launched:  November 4, 2016 In July 2016, the logo was overhauled with a reimagined curtain-raiser sequence animated by Perception. The new opening begins with comic book panels seen in the previous two openings, but transitions into art of the characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe films being painted from scratch and eventually showing pieces of footage from the 13 films that had released at that time, arranged within the luminous interior walls of the "Marvel" logotype (now put inside a silver rectangle). "STUDIOS" is placed to the side of the logo instead of under it, and it is revealed from two lines that expand outward. The logo would later have some minor modifications with the addition of more footage from newer released films (except for footage with Spider-Man on non-Sony released films due to copyright issues between Marvel and Sony). The logo debuted in Doctor Strange and has been used in all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 films. It was last seen in home video opening of Black Widow (the film itself enhanced logo instead).

    2021–present

Typography:  Unknown Launched:  January 15, 2021 In 2021, Marvel Studios updated its 2016 logo, with grayscale art of the characters and all-new footage from Phase 3 films (most of which were taken from Avengers: Endgame). In addition, the "Marvel Studios" symbol was altered to have a metal texture rather than a sliver color and the lighting in the logo was made darker. The enhanced "Marvel Studios" symbol first debuted on the Disney+ release of Black Panther along with the "Tribute for Chadwick Boseman" variant. The complete updated intro made its debut in the first episode of WandaVision as a variant, and the standard version debuted in the second episode. Similar to the 2016 logo, the logo later had some minor modifications with footage from newer films, and Disney+ series have been added to the logo since Ms. Marvel.
