The Box Lure is a furniture item in Adopt Me! that costs 750 in the furniture catalog. It was released on September 14, 2023. Only one Box Lure can be active in a house at a time.
The Box Lure allows a player to claim Bucks, pets, or various items after a period of time; players must first place a bait inside the Box Lure in order for it to yield items. Some baits, such as the Flaming Zebra Bait and Ash Zebra Bait, could only be obtained in the Fire Dimension Event (2023) and cannot be obtained anymore; the other bait, the Campfire Cookie, is free to use.
The Box Lure features a brown cardboard box with a brown paw print at the front, propped up by a brown stick. A yellow string is tied to the bottom of the brown stick.
If a Campfire Cookie was set under the Box Lure, there would be a plate of orange-red iced cookies underneath the box; if a Flaming Zebra Bait was set, a glowing golden crust with orange filling would appear; if a Ash Zebra Bait was set, a blackened crust with gold-black filling would appear; if Christmas Pudding Pup Bait was set, a dark brown fairy cake shaped like a dog bone would appear, covering in white icing with 3 red mistletoe berries and 2 mistletoe leafs; if a Burnt Bites Bait was set, a stick with five round orange and black spheres would appear; and if a Baked Alaska Bait was set, a black plate with several small pastries piled on top would appear.
