Teddington Studios was a large British television studio in Teddington, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, providing studio facilities for programmes airing on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky1 and others. The complex also provided studio space for channel continuity.
For the best part of a century, Teddington Studios has been at the hub of the entertainment industry, with a steady output that has ranged from silent films to contemporary television comedies. It all began when a riverfront site at Teddington was acquired in the 1880s by a wealthy stockbroker named Henry Chinnery.
