Swallow Falls State Park is a public recreation area located on the west bank of the Youghiogheny River nine miles (14 km) northwest of Oakland in Garrett County, Maryland, in the United States.
There are three falls here: Swallow Falls, Muddy Creek Falls, and Tolliver Falls. All are worth the hike. At swallow falls, you'll want to meander down river a bit and find your way to the shore line to get a good photo composition.. There are several good perches there.
