Jun 11, 2015 · But don't download it if you got the support number from a scammer. It's a scam. Support.me is part of LogMeIn Rescue which is legitimate. However, LogMeIn is software to allow remote access to your computer, and the people who were trying to utilize support.me were scammers and you should not allow them access.

JasonStet- HP Support attempts to use support.me. Not sure if it's a scammer, the "hp support" opened command prompt to ask me for my email and told me to type it. Was trying to get me to go to something called support.me. I read that support.me is 100% a scam. Is this true? Anyone who tries to get you to do that is a scam? Archived post.
