The present study investigates (1) the development and psychometric validation of a newly developed short version and (2) test-criterion validity with state measures and language use.
The state trait cheerfulness inventory can be either a 18, 30 or 60 item questionnaire regarding feelings and state of mind. Items are scored on a 1-4 scale, with the total scale score calculated as a sum within the different subsections e.g. trait-cheerfulness (CH).
