How to search and bid for properties. You do not need to be logged in to search for properties, but you do have to be logged in and have an active application to bid on properties. Click Properties and recent lets search, select the type of property you are searching for, enter an area and press Search.
Band 3 - For applicants who are found to be intentionally homeless (with or without priority) or who are sharing a kitchen or bathroom with another household. (This does not include sheltered housing or houses in multiple occupation). Band 4 - For all other qualifying applicants. A local connection to South Tyneside is not required.

Once you are registered with South Tyneside Homes, you will be able to make an application for social housing properties in South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Newcastle and Gateshead.
