There are eight main ranks to progress through in Fortnite Ranked, either in Battle Royale or Zero Build: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal. Some of those main ranks also have multiple tiers within them, creating a total of 18 ranks altogether. You'll have to progress through them in order, starting with Unranked, and here's what they all are (from lowest to highest):
•Bronze I
•Bronze II
•Bronze III
•Silver I
•Silver II
It can take a while to progress through all the ranks, as there are so many. However, you can do so quickly by getting eliminations and surviving as long as possible. You will earn points toward your next rank for each elimination you get or if you dealt enough damage to an individual before they were downed (when playing with duos or squads). Eliminations you get toward the endgame, the last few player's last standing, will earn you increased points.
It's not always best to play aggressively in Fortnite Ranked unless you're extremely confident. Sometimes, you'll want to play a bit slower; make sure you're well-geared up and survive as long as possible before going after players and earning those eliminations, especially because those eliminations will earn you more points.
