  1. This is THE beach in Santa Cruz. It is right in front of the Boardwalk, flanked by the San Lorenzo River and the Wharf. There are beach volleyball courts. Trash cans are offered. No pets or alcohol. Lots of families. Love walking it in the off season when the crowds are not there.
