Saint Bernard offers numerous solo and ensemble settings for growing musicians to learn or improve their skills. Our middle school band features students grade 6 through 8, while students in all grades can participate in ukulele studio, piano studio, acapella choir, handbells, drumline, and more.
Early on, Saint Bernard became known for its musicals with productions such as Once Upon a Mattress, The King and I, Babes in Arms, and Forty-Second Street. Today, the program is flourishing and includes students from all grade levels.

Conner McWilliams (trumpet), Olivia Busher (trumpet), Manny Castillo (trombone), and Joshua Porterfield (trombone) used it to participate in a chamber ensemble coaching with a Manhattan School of Music faculty member.

The school boasts four choral groups: the Upper School Glee Club, the Middle School Chorus, the St. Bernard’s Singers, and the Chamber Chorus. Boys who study stringed instruments may join our string orchestra. Boys learn the recorder in Grade III, and those interested may join the Recorder Club.
