Aug 21, 2024 · The School of Performing Arts in the College of Fine Arts invites the Wichita community to its 2024-25 season of productions. This year’s season is centered around “Building Community.” Fall 2024: Express – Sept. 28 in the Welsbacher Black Box Theatre, Hughes Metropolitan Complex.
It's a musical revue featuring the songs of legendary hit makers Mike Stoller and Jerry Leiber. It pays homage to some of the most powerful and recognizable early icons of rock and roll such as The Drifters, The Coasters, Dion of Dion and the Belmonts, and of course, Elvis Presley.

According to WCT's website, "Volunteer theatre in Wichita began in 1927, known then as the “Little Theatre of Wichita,” and in a short period of time became an active and driving force within the Wichita community.
