Pennsylvania’s amusement ride safety program is designed to ensure that all rides in the state meet stringent safety requirements. The process starts with the Amusement Ride Safety Advisory Board, which is made up of a panel of industry experts, concerned citizens, and one certified engineer.
The 2023 PACE Seminar, held between Monday 10/30 and Thursday 11/2, is in the books. This annual ride safety seminar is jointly sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Showmen’s Association (PSSA) and the Pennsylvania Amusement Parks and Attractions (PAPA) Association.
This Seminar includes a “hands on” training session at one of Pennsylvania’s beautiful Amusement Parks, and offers Inspector training for PA Certified Inspectors and/or NAARSO Levels. The original Pennsylvania Ride Safety Seminar and Pennsylvania’s ONLY Nationally Recognized Ride Safety Seminar.
Since 1984, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Ride and Measurement Standards has worked to ensure that amusement rides and attractions within the commonwealth are safe. Be Alert, Be Smart, Be Safe. Reminding you that Ride Safety involves all of us!
