As someone who struggled with this decision extensively before attending, I’m going to provide an overview of whether law school is worth it (or not) for prospective students. I certainly do not purport to know everything, and the point of this post is to generate discussion.
The School offers a high-quality research and teaching environment and is home to the Centre for the Study of Law in Theory and Practice, which provides leadership, coherence and research focus in public law, business law, criminal law and legal practice.
I've heard various opinions about the worth of a legal education, some say its well worth the investment and others suggest the opposite citing the fact that Law schools are getting more and more expensive with increasing class sizes and a shortage of articling positions available.
