May 15, 2020 · Both the 2005 and 2011 formulations of Dior Homme are characterised as being powdery-sweet on Parfumo. Overall, I think the two formulas are fairly similar. However, there is one pivotal difference; the original formulation is quite heavy on the iris. It gives a wonderfully buttery, sweet floral backbone to the whole fragrance.
