The Y Chromosome Haplotype Reference Database (YHRD) is an open-access, annotated collection of population samples typed for Y chromosomal sequence variants. [1] Two important objectives are pursued: (1) the generation of reliable frequency estimates for Y-STR haplotypes and Y-SNP haplotypes to be used in the quantitative assessment of matches ...

We have structured the results in two different categories: Observed and Expected. “Observed” are counts of database matches and “Expected” are approximations/estimates of Haplotype frequencies revealed by biostatistical calculations.
Aug 16, 2007 · One of those databases is YHRD (Y-STR haplotype reference database). The project has two main goals: The generation of reliable Y-STR haplotype frequency estimates for minimal and extended Y-STR haplotypes to be used in the quantitative assessment of matches in forensic and genealogical casework, and;
