Aug 2, 2022 · When signing in to my microsoft account, it asks to choose between a personal account or a work/school account. The thing is, I've never had a work or school account with my email address. When I click on work/school account to try and sign in to it, it says my email is invalid.

Oct 2, 2021 · I would think the main legitimate reason for universities to want students to use their university email accounts is authentication: staff can reasonably know that an email from [email protected] is from Student Name, whereas they can't easily know or confirm who [email protected] is.
