As players can probably tell from the name, nitwits do nothing aside from sleeping and roaming around the village. They cannot take on a professioneven if the player forces them by placing a job site block in the nitwits' vicinity.

Like other villagers, a nitwit's appearance depends on the biome it spawns in. However, the top part of their robe is always green. 4. Hello there, returning to Minecraft after an eternity and finally understood and built a proper villager breeder/zombifier/trading hall but I have an issue. I’m colourblind and have no way to tell if a villager is a nitwit or not and I’m pretty dumb with computers and file editing.

  6. Feb 11, 2020 · Nitwits relate to real life, not all "villagers" have jobs, it's a village after all. Also, they are made to be useless, it's in the name "nitwit". It adds variety, it means that some villagers won't have jobs which perfectly makes sense.
