Oct 5, 2011 · In a dark room with the requirements met to be able for hostile mobs to spawn, is the spawning of different types of hostile mobs (etc, Creeper, Skeleton, Spider, Enderman, Zombie) random or is there a preference for a specific hostile mob to spawn?
I built a darkroom spawner that has 4 corners of stone, 18x18x3 empty space, with 2 block wide water streams in the middle leading to a 4 block center on each side.
The classic 22 block tall dark room mob farm, aka Ol' Reliable. I built it 128 blocks in the air to maximize spawns recently in a hardcore world and just finished adding carpet in a checkerboard pattern to disable spider spawns.
