I installed the latest MD-380 software (from Radioddity) , but I cannot get the MD-380 software to work on Windows 10. When I plug the MD-380 USB programming cable in my Surface Book (obviously running Windows 10), Device Manager sees "STM device in DFU Mode".
Feb 10, 2023 · I currently have CPS 2.0 2.122.70.0. It's the newest version available to me. The radio's info section reads CP Version 21.10.07. However when I try to read it, I get an error that the firmware versions are not compatible. I figured using the newest possible CPS would guarantee a good read.

I run the CPS, attempt to read the radio, then the CPS crashes, I get the "windows is trying to find a solution" message and I'm forced to click close program. A few more attempts unplugging then reconnecting the USB cable, and I'm finally able to get a read.
To program the radio, you must use the customer programming software (CPS) provided by the manufacturer. You will likely need to download the software from a vendor’s website or the manufacturer’s website and then install it as you would any other software. The file that the CPS creates is called a codeplug.
