   They know that most of the instructors are there to build time to get to an airline, so there's a big turnover rate in instructors, hence the guaranteed job. If you don't want to do this as a career, don't go to ATP. They actually don't even offer a private pilot only certificate program.

   • You will find that nearly everyone at ATP is drinking that cool aide and believe this is the only way. I prefer to find my own path in aviation! It really is up to you, but ATP's way is certainly an option for you. I have met a lot of ATP alumni since finishing the program who made it out alive and did not stay with ATP.

   • In my personal opinion, ATP Flight School goes to great lengths to make sure that their instructors and students are safe. They have to in order to maintain their reputation. It’s no more (or less) dangerous to get your flight training done here than it is most other schools.

   • To date, there have only been 2 other accidents that involved aircraft from ATP flight school: Two students were on a cross country training flight when they experienced a vacuum pump failure in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC). The pilot flying subsequently lost control, and the aircraft suffered an in-flight breakup.
