The above-ground portion of Barrows consists of six burial mounds inside a stone fence. Digging with a spade on top of these mounds will land the player inside a crypt belonging to one of the brothers. Ahrim's mound is located in the centre. Dharok's mound is located north-east. Guthan's mound is located south-east.
The Barrows is a series of six burial mounds east of Mort'ton in which the Barrows brothers were entombed after their deaths during the Third Age. 'Barrows' also commonly refers to the minigame-like dungeon-delving experience of looting the chest at the centre of the tunnels beneath the crypts, released on 9 May 2005.
Barrows can be split into 2 phases: Crypt-digging phase: this is where you dig into each crypt, and take on the brothers one-by-one; Tunnel phase: one random crypt will lead to a tunnel, which you should save for last; There are 6 total brothers: Dharok, Ahrim, Karil, Torag, Guthan & Verac. Each has their own combat style, and unique ability.
Your goal is to see a crypt for Karil or Ahrim. Because it's harder to do this challenge when the melee brothers are inside the crypt due to doors and minions. If you do get one inside the crypt, ignore them and do the remaining steps in the chest room. Hit the crypt, spam click to run away from them, and hide on the other side of the crypt.
