The 7th Continent is an amazing accomplishment in game design. The team set out to make an impossibly large and complex narrative game. That alone is a recipe for disaster. Not only does The 7th Continent avoid being a disaster, but it manages to become perhaps the most compelling argument in favor of board games as works of art.

Dec 5, 2017 · Cons. This game system is fantastic, but the quests themselves are just okay. The goal of the game is to lift these curses, but only a very small portion of the content has to do with the quests you’re on. It’s a great survival game, but we went into it thinking there’d be a bit more story attached to each quest.
