My favorite load is either the 50 gr. Sierra semispitzer or the 50 gr. Rem. Core-Lokt HP, Rem. brass, Rem. 7-1/2 primer, and 25.0 grs. of BL-C (2). Start a little low and work up. Jun 20, 2023 · The 222 Rem just happens to be one of those cartridges that hit a sweet spot in no matter what you put it in. I was varmit hunter not benchrester, 222 was good to 400yds no problem, same as 223 if you are lucky enough to have one that shoots decent.
